Abstract Explosion

LAYOUT. Abstract Explosion

Once again, I attempted to make a non-blue layout. Once again.......... I failed. XD Well, it's not as bad as last time. There's less blue and more other colors. My next goal: a layout that does not have any blue at all.

Anyway. This layout is one of my very few non-anime layouts. Actually, I think it's only the second. The first one was Reverie, and that was by request. This one I made of my own free will. I guess I needed a break from making only anime stuff. Just like I need a break from using blue all the time. I've never made an only-abstract layout before. The only other time I used abstract was in Digital Remembrance. I used a new coloring technique I found out about a few days ago. It's pretty cool. I like all the colors I'm able to include, and all the shades of different colors. I named the layout Abstract Explosion after a brush set available for download at Celestial-Star. I didn't actually use any brushes from that brush set, but the name was cool, and it fit, so I decided to use it.

I added a kind of background to each module section and blog entry. But then you couldn't read the text when it was over the background, so I made it so that only a little bit of the text overlapped with the background. Or I tried to. The module sections were easy enough. It was the blog entries that I had a lot of trouble with. At least I know how to do it now.
